Meditation For – Pain Management
Join Manjula Khanna for a transformative workshop focused on powerful holistic tools for pain management, helping individuals to cope with chronic pain, reduce the perception of pain, and improve emotional resilience. It involves techniques that focus on breath, mindfulness, body awareness, and relaxation, which can influence how the brain processes pain signals.

What is the name of the instructor? Manjula Khanna
Why is she well-qualified to teach this workshop? Manjula is a certified instructor of Primordial Sound Meditation (PSM) and Pranayama from Chopra Education, global organization established by Deepak Chopra, M.D., and David Simon, M.D. She also has extensive experience of teaching different techniques of meditation including Mindfulness Meditation, Breath Awareness Meditation, Mantra Meditation, Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep), Chakra Meditation and many more. She has over 8+ years of experience of teaching.

Why is Manjula passionate about teaching this workshop?
Manjula is passionate to teach ‘meditation for pain management’ as she healed herself from an unfortunate accident by regular practice of meditation along with medicines. These practices are medically proven to accelerate the healing process of body, mind and spirit, and are recommended by medical doctors. Manjula has established a non-profit organization, Holistic Cares, to educate and bring awareness to the community in ‘holistic’ methods of healing and managing pain and stress, thus enhancing quality of life.

What is the purpose of this workshop?
The purpose of the workshop is to learn and practice holistic mediation techniques along with breathwork to manage the pain and  promote deep relaxation, mental clarity, and overall well-being.

What is the big benefit that I will get?
Both meditation and breath work  offer powerful benefits for physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Breathwork emphasizes breath control to influence mental clarity, energy levels, and emotional balance. Meditation is a powerful, non-invasive method for managing pain that works by calming the mind, reducing the emotional impact of pain, and altering the brain's response to pain signals. When practiced together, these two practices complement each other beautifully, helping significantly improve the quality of life for those suffering from chronic pain.

What will I do during this workshop?
You will learn Yogic breathing exercises known as Pranayama, that regulate the breath and, in turn, influence the mind, energy, and emotions. Prana is the life force, and "yama" means control, so Pranayama is the practice of controlling the life force through breath. Then you will be guided into meditation practice that induces deep relaxation on physical, mental, and emotional levels.

How will I feel after the workshop?
You will feel rejuvenated and calm. Both breath work and meditation help activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which promotes relaxation and reduces the stress response caused by the chronic pain.
