Qi Gong with Brian
Qi Gong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese practice that combines gentle movement, breathwork, and focused intention to cultivate and balance your body’s vital energy, or qi. It’s often described as a moving meditation that nourishes both body and mind.
- Stress relief & relaxation – calms the nervous system and eases tension.
- Improved strength & flexibility – gentle movements support mobility and balance.
- Mental clarity – enhances focus and reduces mental fatigue.
- Emotional balance – harmonizes mood and increases resilience.
- Energy & vitality – boosts circulation and overall life force.
Brian Kaminer, co-owner of Present Wisdom Yoga, is a passionate Qi Gong instructor, Quantum Shift Breath Healing facilitator, and hosts an established men’s group. He is also dedicated student of yoga, meditation and mindfulness.
Drumming Circle with Matthew
Drum circles serve as a communal, therapeutic, and recreational activity designed to foster social connection, reduce stress, and promote wellness through improvised rhythm. Participants of all skill levels come together to share rhythm, creating a “collective voice” that promotes equality, joy, and emotional release.
- Community Building – bring people together to build social bonds, and create a shared, harmonious experience.
- Therapeutic Benefits – induces relaxation, lowers stress, and can improve mental health.
- Self-Expression and Wellness – offers a non-verbal outlet for emotions, increasing energy and fostering personal growth.
Matthew Broad is a seasoned hand-drumming instructor and community facilitator with over 25 years of experience, specializing in Djembe circles and rhythm-based connection. He fosters community through accessible, high-energy drumming, teaching participants of all skill levels to find their rhythm and listen to one another.
Didgeridoo Sound Healing with Alejandro
Sound healing uses vibrations from instruments to trigger the parasympathetic nervous system, reducing stress, improving sleep, and alleviating anxiety. By creating immersive soundscapes, it clears energetic blockages and promotes deep relaxation.
Alejandro Fuentes is a dynamic sound healer specializing in the didgeridoo, an instrument played by the indigenous Aboriginal people of Australia. It is considered a deeply sacred instrument used to connect people with ancestors, the land and the Dreamtime. It is used in ceremonies, storytelling and shamanic healing. Alejandro artfully plays other unique instruments including the Wave Chime and Handpan drum.
Beckoning Path
Beckoning Path is a mid-century architectural gem set on 27 lakefront acres in Armonk. Conceived in the 1960s, the structure features a spiky copper roof, towering timber frames, and sweeping glass walls that dissolve the boundary between inside and out.
It's been lovingly transformed into a high‑performance private wellness retreat. The home now hosts a seamless blend of modern sustainability and contemplative design —all intended to elevate the senses and inspire inner calm.
