Nannette has practiced yoga and meditation since the 1970's when, as a child, she joined her artist mother in studio classes. Together they studied Iyengar and later, ISHTA yoga. Nannette received her first certification in Hatha Yoga and subsequently, her 500 hour Yoga Wellness Educator 2.0 certification focusing on functional aging, musculoskeletal imbalances, and bone health, including Osteoporosis/Osteopenia and Osteoarthritis.
Nannette emphasizes building strength, balance, and flexibility within the proper alignment while cultivating an open heart. She consistently offers modifications as well as progressions so that all students, from beginners to advanced, are able to find their edge while staying connected to their breath.
